myself, I am

I am Hunter. That is my name, ironic, though, because I work at a vegetarian restaurant in Belmar. I love my job because it's a relaxed environment and I meet cool people. I've been skateboarding since I was eleven. and I love it. Last summer I fell skating a hill in manual and hit my shoulder and my temple so hard that I snapped my collar bone which ultimately forced me to wear a man-bra. It was actually used to support my collarbone to help me with healing, but it felt like a man-bra, although I've never worn any bra. I don't read much but I love to write. I usually take the stance of a sarcastic douchebag to put down whoever I'm arguing against with no hard feelings, while adding a little humor. This tends to reflect in my artwork. I love music. I never really listened to much music as a child, until I was in or around sixth grade. Currently, I like some classic rock (Zeppelin mostly) as well as Modest Mouse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Damian Marley, The Expendables, Slightly Stoopid, SOJA, and a little Killswitch. I recently started taking art to a different level with tattoos. Everything I have on me so far, I've drawn or designed (except the words on my ankle, I'll give credit to microsoft word for that) and they all have meaning. I'm going for the "good and evil" theme which represents my view on life. I want to make a living doing what I love, which is creating art. I try to be edgy in my stylee to make my images more visually appealing, and to generate thought in the viewer. I never want to quit skateboarding, listening to music, being involved with art, or communicating with people. I'm open to alot of different types of art with a strong liking for bold, detailed images that provoke thought.

I feel that personality plays a huge role in creating any kind of art. Who I am reflects in what I can render as an artist. I like breaking rules in my art even in school regardless of a decrease in my grade because I feel that an artist has the right to have the final say in what they create ends up like. I've been trying to limit this aspect of my work, because in school, and at the workplace the teacher or boss is always right even if I disagree. At this point in my blog I must list several links for my classmates, and since I don't find much of what's on the internet to be interesting at all, I'll give you a link to a website that offers games: Teagames.com Try the motocross game, it's alright. Also, here's a link to Art.com, because I feel that its contents must pertain to art despite the fact that I have never visited the site, nor do I feel the urge to ever do so. If anyone feels the need to contact me in order to exchange ideas or create art and such, feel free to send me an e-mail via Hunteryouarescum@gmail.com, but please note that I may never get back to you because I never really go on that site. You could always send me an email at oceancruiser and I may reply within 4-8 weeks. That's about it for now, now you know who I am, but there is a chance that everything I just posted was a lie...
